Ashwagandha the Stress Right Out of Me!

Ashwagandha is part of the Nightshade Family

In our lives in this era of time, we are more stressed out than we need to be.  Time seems to be racing and we are all on the race track moving in a hurry.  With these perceived and some of the real time crushers and life stresses, some of us will neglect ourselves, our well being and will just add more stress.  Stress will increase the destruction of our immune systems, mental and emotional state and will eventually affect our physical bodies.   Stress and lack of sleep will produce the chemical Cortisol.  Cortisol needs to be put in check so that we can level out and be productive without the stress.  Balance.

Ashwagandha, is an adaptogenic herb popular in Ayurvedic medicine that has shown incredible results for lowering cortisol and balancing thyroid hormones.

Ashwagandha the Stress Right Out of Me!

Are you experiencing

Stress

Fatigue

Lack of energy

Difficulty concentrating

The use of the Ayurvedic herb, Ashwagandha can help alleviate these symptoms and support an energetic and rejuvenating sense of wellbeing.

Medical researchers have been studying Ashwagandha for years with great interest and have completed more than 200 studies on the healing benefits of this herb.

The healing effects of Ashwagandha are:

  • Protects the immune system
  • Helps combat the effects of stress
  • Improves learning, memory, and reaction time
  • Reduces anxiety and depression without causing drowsiness
  • Helps reduce brain-cell degeneration
  • Stabilizes blood sugar
  • Helps lower cholesterol
  • Offers anti-inflammatory benefits
  • Contains anti-malarial properties
***Enhances sexual potency for both men and women*** (oh hell yes!!!)

Your adrenal glands are endocrine glands that are responsible for releasing hormones (cortisol and adrenaline) in response to stress on your body.
If your adrenals are overtaxed due to an overabundance of emotional, physical and mental stress, it can lead to a condition known as adrenal fatigue.  Emotional, physical, and chemical stress can all have damaging effects to the brain and nervous system.  Recent research has proven ashwagandha is more than a stress reliever, it also protects the brain from degeneration and improves symptoms of alzheimer’s, depression, and anxiety.

It seems that we all are going to suffer stress in the world we have created.   We are so fortunate that Mother Nature provides an option for our health and healing.

Ashwagandha can be purchased at your Health Food stores and is highly recommended.

You can take Ashwagandha tablets or if you like there is also an option for a tincture.

If you buy the powder, at night add it to your favorite tea or a warm glass of milk (which ever kind you prefer) and enjoy 45 minutes before bedtime.

One or two teaspoons of Ashwagandha powder twice daily (3-6 grams daily) is the most commonly recommended dosage, for both short and long term use. Ashwagandha should be taken with meals.

Ashwagandha Tea Recipe

Take 2 tsp of dried Ashwagandha root

  • Use the root in approximately 3½ cups boiling water
  • Allow it to boil for 15 minutes
  • Remove the root from the liquid
  • Strain to remove any remaining plant matter in the water
  • Consume 1/4 cup twice daily
Thanks to our Great Mother we have options to heal ourselves.  Be good to yourself and try not to stress out too much or for too long.

I love you.

Grease Wood and Chaparral taste so nasty it has to be good for you.

The Good The Bad The Nasty Taste
Chaparral/ Grease Wood

BE VERY CAUTIOUS WITH THIS HERB

Because this herb has been a reported cause of death, I want to first list the contraindiacations.

Chaparral was removed from the FDA's GRAS list in 1968. Increased risk for liver toxicity is expected in patients with poor liver function. Chaparral is not recommended for use in patients with poor kidney function due to a risk of toxicity.

Pregnancy/nursingDocumented adverse effects to uterine activity and liver. Avoid use.InteractionsNone well documented.Side EffectsThe creosote bush can induce skin reaction.ToxicitiesChaparral may cause liver damage, stimulate some malignancies, and cause skin reaction.

This herb should not be taken internally by young children.  Elderly and Older children should be given low doses and should be observed to discover how well their bodies react to Chaparral. As high dosages and prolonged use could end up causing one to experience an adverse effect, it’s not recommended for people that have kidney problems. Because of the strong effects of chaparral, it’s important to seek advice from your healthcare provider before making use of the herb.

Further in the blog I have the uses listed and how to make a poultice and tea from Chaparral.

Chaparral interactions

Hepatotoxic (damaging or destructive to liver cells.)

 – drugs that can damage the liver – are said to interact with chaparral, because chaparral is also believed to be hepatotoxic. These drugs are available by prescription and over-the-counter; hepatotoxic drugs include pain relievers, yeast infection and irregular heartbeat treatments and even a popular antibiotic. Here’s a short list:

  • acetaminophen, aka Tylenol
  • fluconazole, aka Diflucan
  • amiodarone, aka Cordarone
  • erythromycin, aka Erythrocin and Ilosone
  • carbamazepine, aka Tegretol
  • methotrexate, aka Rheumatrex
  • simvastatin, aka Zocor

Chaparral (Larrea divaricata) is a desert shrub that grows in Mexico and the southwestern United States. It is also known as greasewood and creosote bush.  The odor is very strong after a rain, a unique and pleasing desert smell. Native Americans made tea from the leaves of this plant to treat chicken pox, colds, diarrhea, menstrual cramps, pain, snake bites, skin disorders, and rheumatism. Others have promoted it for an even longer list of ailments ranging from acne to dandruff, diabetes, PMS and treatment of Cancer.

Dr. Andrew Weil has this to say...

"Chaparral contains a powerful antioxidant called NDGA (for nordihydroguaiaretic acid) that has been used as a food preservative and may account for some of its medicinal properties. But I don’t recommend taking chaparral internally (as a tea or supplement) for any indication. Although it has been linked to rare cases of kidney and liver dysfunction, it appears to be generally nontoxic. It does not cause hepatitis, as some sources state, and I haven’t seen any scientific evidence showing that it is effective for any of the conditions for which it is so often recommended, including cleansing the body of toxins.

I do recommend chaparral for topical use. Mexican herbalists have long valued it for healing eczema and other kinds of skin irritation and inflammation, and I find that it works well, better than many pharmaceutical products. You can buy chaparral lotions or salves from stores that sell herbal preparations." Andrew Weil, M.D."

However, according to WebMD we get this side of the coin...

According to WebMD, “Chaparral can cause side effects including stomach pain, nausea, diarrhea, weightloss, fever, and liver and kidney damage. Putting chaparral on the skin can cause skin reactions including rash and itching.”5 It is not recommended for pregnant and breast-feeding women, because it may worsen liver disease or “cause serious liver and kidney problems.”5

Conversely, in an article posted on Natural News, a 1991 book called ‘Miracle Medicine Herbs’ is cited as stating “All tests on chaparral indicate that it is positively non-toxic and has never shown any side effects on patients and if present research is successful it will offer the first anti-cancer drug.”6 The article also cited another book called ‘Herbs for Health and Healing’, which was published in 1996. This book also claims that chaparral poses no danger to human health, with judicious use. “Herb industry surveys show that more than 200 tons were sold in the United States between 1970 and 1990. And during this time, there was not a single complaint of side effects arising from the use of this herb. When two to three cups of chaparral tea or the isolated NDGA were given daily to more than 50 cancer patients, the only side effects were occasional nausea or diarrhea. Very large doses resulted in lowered blood pressure.”6

And yet, again, according to Cancer Research UK, “A review of 18 case reports of people who took chaparral showed that it can cause severe, irreversible liver damage and failure. It can also cause kidney damage in some people.”7

Considering the sizable chasm between opinions, regarding chaparral’s side-effects and safety, it would unwise not to consider both positions, before deciding to use this herb.

Chaparral leaves contain a powerful antioxidant that’s an effective herbal antibiotic. According to nutraceutical researcher Jon Barron, “Chaparral is one of the most powerful anti-oxidants in nature. The primary biochemical responsible for this is NDGA (nordihydroguaiaretic acid). NDGA is so effective that it is often used as a food preservative.”1 So, it should come as no surprise that it is effective defense against cold germs and flu viruses. It has also been used to treat urinary and respiratory infections, as well as chickenpox.

Ok.  So now we have a general understanding of Chaparral or Grease Wood, so now let's talk about it in a language we can all understand.  Word on the street here in New Mexico is that Grease wood is a cure all.  I have talked with people extensively and have had verbal reports that Grease Wood works as a general body aliment fix, a powerful internal cleanse because of the high anti oxidation qualities and a couple of people have said that it helped cure their cancer.   Also, according to some herbalist Chaparral has the ability to cleanse deep into the muscles and tissue walls.  It can be a potent healer of the urethral tract and lymphatics.  It perhaps tones up our systems and rebuilds the tissue!  It is a strong antioxidant, anti-tumor agent and antiseptic.  It has been dubbed on of the best herbal antibiotics.

I have gathered some Grease Wood and have tried the tea just once.  All I know at this point is that it truly is the most vile tasting tea that I have ever had in the 30 years I have built a relationship with my herb family.  With that said, I must fight myself to brew another cup.  It is that nasty.  Straight up!  Is it worth it though?

From what I have heard, absolutely.

Brew the tea:
ONE small sprig of Chaparral (grease wood)
Boil 8 - 12 ounces of water.  Place the sprig in the boiling water and turn of the flame and allow to steep for ten - fifteen  minutes.
Strain the liquid and drink.

Some people depending on the condition they are trying to resolve will drink the tea 3 times a day.  Some people drink the tea once a week for a general elixir to "clean" or detox.  Some people drink the tea once a month.  I fall into the category of once a month.  I like to use Grease Wood as a general healer and as a ward off for possible problems.

I am in the process of making a Chaparral salve for those that suffer skin aliments and for those that have arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.  It will be available at our Etsy Shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/FireandAirinaCan
I have research how Native Americans in the Southwest used Grease wood to help cure skin issues and pain issues as well as healing bug and snake bites.  Another use if the internal take isn't an option for you is to use a poultice for eczema and other skin issues.  Visit the shop!  We also have Chaparral for Sale in spring and leaf form so that you can make your own tinctures, teas and poultices.

How to make a Poultice:
steep leaves in hot water until the liquid has a strong smell, then soak a cloth in it and apply it to the affected area. It isn't recommended to apply the leaves directly to the skin, however our Native American brothers and sisters used to chew the leaves and place the chewed up portion directly on a wound or bite.   If a large portion of the skin is involved, add a liter or so of strong chaparral tea to a bath that you can soak in. https://www.etsy.com/listing/500936864/chaparral-grease-wood-creosote

Herb use isn't for everyone, however herbs can be a powerful healer.  I believe in the power of this herb.  Our Mother Earth has provided for us the healing power and we must learn how to use it.

If you have a story to tell about your use of Chaparral please do share in the comments.

I will have videos available soon.

Be Well!

I love you.

What is a Mojo Hand and will it make me Sexy?

Muddy Waters Got My Mojo Working. http://youtu.be/8hEYwk0bypY
This wonderful Muddy Waters song speaks of a Mojo Hand and the workings it will do.  He's going down to Louisiana to get a Mojo Hand.  He's planning on uses it on pretty women to place them under his command!

Even Lightin Hopkins sings of going down Louisiana  to get a Mojo hand to fix his ol lady so she can't have no other man.  Listen and watch here: http://youtu.be/Vpj7uXVsJ1E.

Ma Rainy was going down Louisiana to get a mojo hand to stop all these other women messing around with her man.  Listen here : http://youtu.be/qNUy5q2StPY

WHAT IS A MOJO HAND AND WILL IT MAKE ME SEXY?

Good thing for you, you won't have to go down Louisiana way to get you one.  Although I would make the trip just to experience a Hoodoo Rootworker working their magic.  Lucky for you, you can go to www.luckymojo.com/catalogue.html

and get a Mojo Hand  ... Just sayin...

What is it? This Mojo Hand.

Short and sweet a Mojo hand is a spell or a wish in a bag that you carry on your person.  The long side of the story is much better, so read on reader.

A Mojo Hand aka a mojo bag, Gris Gris or hand comes from the African American practice of Hoodoo.  The Mojo hand got its name from a misspeak of the word magic and quite honestly sounds pretty damned cool to me!  The word hand is used to describe the ingredients placed in the bag, usually five, hence "hand".  A red flannel bag is customary used although green is used in money and gambling Mojo.

The contents of the Mojo Hand vary in the spell or wish being worked.  What is the desire of the person and the degree of the need determines the magical ingredients used.  In another awesome blog post we discuss Magical Herbs and their uses.  You can read it here :
http://teawithtoulousse.blogspot.com/2016/12/how-to-use-special-herbs-in-your-life.html

Let's break down the basic construction of a Mojo Hand.

What goes in the Bag?

Let's think of the Mojo bag in terms of Body, Mind and Soul.  The Mojo bag is a gathered magical effigy of your desire. There has to be substance and meaning in order for it to work its magic for you.  Each ingredient must be enlivened and its magical purpose must be called on.

The Body of a Mojo Hand
The body is the bag itself and its contents.  Red flannel is most commonly used.   Roots, minerals, dried herbs, animal bones, flowers, coins are placed in the bag to create the body of the bag.

The Mind of the Mojo Hand
The mind of the Mojo hand is the magical purpose.  This magical purpose is a written statement of your intent.  You can write the intentional magical mind on parchment paper or a piece of brown paper bag.  If you desire, magical inks such as Dragon's Blood or Dove's Blood or your own blood can be used.  However, a simple ink pen will suffice.  Your written statement can be a prayer, healing spell, affirmation, Solomonic seal or a set of instructions.  Write your magical purpose in clear present tense. Use positive terms with a clear outcome.

The Soul of the Mojo Hand
The Soul of the Mojo Hand is where you place your magical life into the ingredients and the bag.  You will include your personal bodily concern (hair, nail clippings, blood, sexual fluid, photo, clothing, etc.)
The most important part of the Soul of the Mojo Hand is the conjure of magic.  This is where life is literally breathed into the bag.  You are calling up the spirit of the ingredients magical purpose and putting the energy to work in the spell.  Breathing life into the bag animates the Mojo Hand and gives it power.

Once you have given your Mojo hand a body, mind and soul it is vital to feed the bag and seal the spell.  Tie the bag with three square knots then wrap the thread around the neck of the bag.

Feeding the Mojo Hand
Feeding the Mojo hand is a continuous process to keep the magic alive.  Use of the appropriate condition oils or personal fluids, whiskey or water are vital.  This feeding should be done once a week.

Prayer over the Mojo Hand and use of the Psalms may also be included.  We discuss the use of the Psalms in this blog post:  http://teawithtoulousse.blogspot.com/2017/02/use-of-psalms-in-hoodoo-conjure-and.html  You can also smoke your Mojo hand in the appropriate incense or smudge the Mojo Hand.

Once you have created your Mojo Hand it is most vital that you keep it out of sight.  The magic will be destroyed if seen.  Your Mojo Hand is your personal spell and should be carried on your person at all times.

Now you know what a Mojo Hand is and also how to create one.  And yes, a Mojo Hand will make you sexy if you use the proper ingredients and intention.  Mojo hands can be used for Love, Luck, Healing, Protection and more.  In another future blog post we discuss each topic and what herbs to use.

Use of Psalms in Hoodoo Conjure and Rootwork.. Make it real.

In Hoodod Conjure and Rootwork the Book of Psalms is often used in ritual or magical working as well as daily guidance in ones affairs.  The Book of Psalms was written by King David to God.  The Book tells the story of a King and his relationship with God.  We get to witness a man's journey in life and how he uses the power and energy of his faith to live.  It Is wonderful to witness his emotional journey and to really see a human being in all of our ugliness, failure and triumph.  I admire King David and love reading the Psalms.  It is a poet book that reveals our humanness. King David expressed his heart and desires and left us an open Book of how we can use God and His power as a gift.  We have the opportunity to be real in all of our facets and not be ashamed of our imperfect selves.  In this Book we can call upon the magic and use it to power our lives even to transformation.  The Book of Psalms references for this blog post can be used as a guide to help encompass the power behind the words to aid you in your life as well as in your magical workings.  Read on and enjoy.

IT BEGINS WITH OURSELVES

I believe in our journey through life, one of the most important things we need to do on a daily basis until the issue is resolved is to first Forgive ourselves.  We have all done unsavory things in one form or another and harbor tremendous guilt because of it.  This guilt keeps us from our potential and our gifts.  This guilt stands in the way of our relationships not only with other people but with ourselves and our Gods.  In order to clear ourselves of this albatross we must take the time to reconcile with ourselves so that we can move forward and truly live our purpose.  King David was a scoundrel.  Point blank.  He did some terrible things and was still the apple of God's eye.  So no matter what you have done, take the time to forgive and reconcile with yourself.  We are given guidance in the Book of Psalms and in Hoodoo practice with the use of Psalms 25.  Read this verse as you exam your wrong doings and take to heart as it is stated in this reference : Power's of the Psalms, " take heart from this Psalms, put transgression behind and continue in the knowledge that God is love, and love of oneself is essential before we can truly love others".  This is a powerful step in your magical process.  Energy cannot flow when blocked.  Release it and begin your true journey.  Harness the power and use it in your magical workings as it will flow through you naturally.  The Power Is Yours.

TO BOOST OUR STRENGTH AND CONFIDENCE BY ELIMINATING FEAR AND ANXIETY

We are further comforted in Psalms 40.  When prayed with confidence in times of frustration or to petition assistance this Psalms packs a powerful punch indeed.  You will be answered quickly and with anointing of the forehead with Holy Oil it will swiftly help the one who prays this fervently.

Most of us have fear and anxiety living in and amongst us.  It seems as though our society is thriving on it.  Everywhere we turn we are bombarded with fearful information of either, loss, bodily harm, poverty, ridicule, illness, imprisonment of one form or another!  Again, this fear and anxiety stands in the way of our true potential and in our relationship with ourselves, our loved ones and the world.  We cannot truly live and hear the gentle call of our souls when we imprison her in fear and anxiety.  The tangled thorny roots will block our sun and choke out our very life.  Again, the wisdom of King David comes into play in Psalms 138.  A Hoodoo practice to relieve your fear and anxiety is to light a red candle and bask in the glow while repeating the Psalm.  Concentrate particularly on verse 7 which states, "though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me, thou shall stretch forth thine hands against the rath of mine enemies and thou right hand shall save me."  Repeat this verse with confidence until your composure and tranquilly are restored.  Move on in confidence that you have released your fear and anxiety and can walk in the light of your shining soul.

AS KING DAVID DID : USE THE POWER OF GOD AGAINST YOUR ENEMIES

We all have people in or around our lives the reek havoc!  In reading the Psalms King David cries out to God often to send the power to vanquish his enemies.  He has straight out requested God to kill his enemies.  And his request was granted.  I'm not even hinting of murder.  Let's get that straight.  What I am suggesting is that you also are granted the power of God to use against your enemies.  There are several versus in Psalms of this nature and there is a comprehensive reference that I will give mention of later that will give you the power you need.  I like the use of Psalms 83.  This powerful Psalm along with the below Hoodo ritual will guanartee your request when followed.

What you will need:

A black candle
A pen
Parchment paper
A needle or pin
Psalms 83
Sage

Cleanse the area where you are working with the sage.  Get into your meditative state for the working.  Take your black candle and etch the name of your enemy in it with the pin.  Write it from the bottom of the candle to the top as in drawing this person away from you.  If you have and appropriate dressing oil then use it by dressing the candle in strokes moving away from you.  On the parchment paper write the name of your enemy and place it under the black candle.  Be certain that the candle is in a holder and that you have created a fire proof area.  Light the candle and read Psalms 83 completely.  Extinguish the candle.  Repeat the ritual daily until the enemy is gone from your life.

Psalms 83 as stated in "the Powerof the Pslams"' can be read each evening to keep your enemies at bay.

NOW THAT WE HAVE CLEARED OUR PATHS LET FOCUS ON SOME SERENITY AND PEACE

Simply put this Psalms 23 brings you peace.  Verse 6 especially will calm you down just in the fact of God's infinite wisdom and mercy.  Read this Psalms in the warm glow of candle light.  Meditate on the words of King David and channel the conviction he held.  Breath this Psalm into your being and literally absorb its poetic meaning of infinite love and comfort.  What else do you need.  When truth is spoken and absorbed into our cells we live and breath its meaning.  Use this Psalm in moments of loneliness, toward being filled with peace and for serenity of mind.  Drink it in and become what you seek.

ONCE YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE BLESSINGS OF PEACE AND SERENITY MOVE ON TO YOUR SUCCESS AND LUCKY ENDEAVORS

Why hold back now?  You've put in the work and you have cleared your rough past to assure a bright future.  This Psalm speaks to our joy.  We are supposed to be joyous and free.  Celebrate your joyous birthright.  Upon rising every morning recite Psalms 98.

PSALMS 98 Listen to the words of King David and be Inspired

1.  O sing unto the lord a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

2.  The Lord has made know his salvation, his righteousness. Hath he openly showed in the sight of the heathen.

3.  He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all of the ends of the earth have seen The Salvation of our God.

4.  Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth; make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

5.  Sing unto the Lord with the Harp, and the voice of a psalm.

6.  With trumpets and the cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.

7.  Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell within.

8.  Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together,

9.  Before the Lord; for he hath come to judge the earth, with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

Sounds like a party to me.  Bask in the knowledge that your are wonderfully created and shine through all of the circumstance you face!

We have discussed realising negativity within ourselves, ridding ourselves of negative energy from enemies to clear our paths to Peace, Serentiy and Joy!  What a beautiful way to use King David's poetic book of his life experience.

And yet there is so much more.  Let's talk a little bit about financial success and some luck!

PSALMS FOR SUCCESS IN FINANCIAL MATTERS

We all want to be financially secure, the degree is up to you.  Some of us want and require much.  There are those that Enjoy a more simple existence with the realization that family, love and nature are where true happiness really exists.  Whatever you need you can manifest it in your life with true intent and putting in the work.  There are no handouts in life... Really.  Life is about give and take.  And truly what you put into something you get an equal or greater return.  King David wrote Psalms 26 asking God to exam his heart and his intention.  He is asking God to,recognize his effort and to grace him.  We can do the same self examination and discover where our true desires exist.  Once you have made your search take a moment to read Psalms 26.  We Hoodoo practitioners use this Psalm to request grace in any new undertaking.  There are more Psalms to help with financial help that you will discover on your own from the Book, Powers of the Psalms.  This treasure guides you to find help in any situation you may be faced with both negative and positive.  A Hoodoo ritual to use for financial matters is as follows:  light a green candle and pray this Psalms before entering into a new undertaking.  I like to dress my candles with the appropriate conditioning oil or herbs to draw more magical energy to channel in the ritual.  And as always have an attitude of gratitude because it will continue your walk in grace and blessing.

But what of Luck...

DRAW LUCK INTO ALL OF YOUR AFFAIRS

This is pretty cut and dry so let me just give you the Hoodoo ritual and the Psalms.  All luck comes from your own workings.  You draw to you what you put out.  The more busy you are, doing what you do in joyous splendor, the more will be attributed to you.  Thus we create our luck so get busy!  Using Psalms 65 on a weekly basis to enhance your lucky attributes and to bring grace to you and those around you is key.  Burn a purple candle and read the Psalms once every week.  Don't just simply read it.  Understand it and make it a part of your very DNA.  Put in the effort and yield the return.

Now that you have cleared your negativity and have a clear idea of what you want at this moment in your life.  You are willing to make the effort and receive blessings and use your luck... Why not share this beautiful experience with someone special.  Why not be lucky in love.

In another blog post I introduce and give a step by step process of securing love with the use of a Corn Doll Baby.  You can read it here:  http://teawithtoulousse.blogspot.com/2017/02/corn-doll-babies-poppet-and-voodoo.html

However let us discover a Psalms to use to attract the love we desire in our lives.  I have always told our daughters that the best way to discover a great mate is to look at the qualities they love in their father and uncles and to seek those qualities in a partner.  Love isn't about money or possessions.  Love is love period.  Love is a beautiful gift from God where we have the opportunity to discover ourselves, our strengths and passions with the opportunity to share it with our lover, best friend and mate.  We are bonded together in grace to cherish one another through thick and thin.  We are to sharpen each other and to develop a life of our own.  a life built of one of our own value; built on the best qualities of what we have learned from those we love and through self exploration to discover our very own beliefs and values.  Love is real and true and withstands all struggle and fear.  Love is pure and when you have it, man let me tell you, you won't let it go!  Ever!  Don't let this society or your upbringing cloud what your vision of love is, follow your pure heart!

The Psalm used in Hoodoo practice to attract love is Psalms 111.  Remember like John Lennon spoke to us all " the love you get is equal to the love you make."  With this understand, meditate on Psalms 111 in the glow of a red candle light and focus on verse 4.  Do this meditation before you go to any social event or on a date.  Be gracious and kind for the sake of being without seeking return.  Magnitize your being.

Also use Atrraction oil, the best made in my opinion besides my own is from Lucky Mojo.  You can find the oil on their site at www.luckymojo.com.  Their oils are pure and purely magical.  Use the oil to dress your candle in your meditation.  Use it to anoint yourself lightly, it's spicy!  Believe in the love in your pure heart and substitute no other.  Time is indeed linear and will come full circle for you!

We can gather so much knowledge from King David and in the Psalms.  Where there's knowledge there is true magic.  We can draw the power to us through great intent and magical ritual as well as through meditation and simple prayer.

One of the best reference I have in my collection is the Book " Power of the Psalms".  This is a book I use daily in my prayers and meditation.  I gather the magic from the words with added ritual and intent and develope the desires of my heart... It is promised to us all... Take it!
